Wildlife Wendy & her Tropical Birds

Wildlife Wendy and her tropical birds provide an up-close and personal encounter with the most entertaining species of the bird world.

Audiences are instantly intrigued by the majestic macaws as they present incredible physical abilities as well as their vivacious personalities.

Crowds are amazed and laugh out loud at the antics of the talking and free-flight parrots, while the rarely seen African Turaco captivates all!

Utilizing the traditional favorites of trick-performing, mimicking and free-flight combined with fascinating facts; Wendy presents an upbeat show that inspires respect for all wildlife!

The show is for all ages and is fast-paced, fun, and includes on-stage guests from the audience.  After the 20 - 25 minute performance (40-45 min. at schools), guests are encouraged to ask questions, Wendy incorporates education into her presentation with the goal of creating wildlife awareness.  Adults appreciate the educational content and may even learn something new, while the children will be having so much fun, they won’t even realize that they're learning.

"Your Library: The Greatest Show in Town"

The Geneva Public Library was overrun with children and exotic animals on Wednesday afternoon, as Jungle Terry and his safari animals made a visit.  More than 40 children paid close attention for about 45 minutes as Jungle Terry showed them snakes, frogs, turtles and alligators, to name a few.  The program was an interactive program, with children actually being able to touch and hold the animals.

By far, the snakes were the most interesting to the children.  When Terry mentioned showing the children the snakes, they yelled "YES."  All the while, Jungle Terry also told interesting facts about each animal he brought out.

The presentation by Terry was one of several programs which constitutes the Ashtabula County District Library summer program, "YOUR GREATEST SHOW IN TOWN."
